The Services Union and portable long service leave

Today on the show we were joined by The Services Union's lead organiser for social and community services workers, Justine Moran. Justine filled us in on the campaign to get portable long service leave, as well as some of the issues confronting social and community service workers in the industry.

First up though we give updates on first nations workers' actions happening across the country, in particular, the Djab Wurrung Heritage Protection Embassy, as well as the campaign to Save Deebing Creek Mission - who are holding a working bee this weekend, head on out there if you are free!

We also hear of workers actions around the country, and reveal this week's scallywag of the week!
And of course, a massive shoutout to striking O-I Glass workers of the ETU Queensland & NT, now into their 11th week on strike! Support the strike here.
And if you are eligible to join The Services Union, then head on over to their website and join your union!
