The Workers Boom 2: Electric Boogaloo

This week, we once again fill in for Cam and Roo on Echo Boom to bring you a 3 hour episode of Workers Boom 2: Electric Boogaloo.

We speak to United Voice Lead organiser Linda and Delegate Kirsty to talk about some of the issues facing Early Childhood Educators as well as the efforts being by the union to organise and fight for better pay and conditions - The Big Steps Campaign.

In the second half of the show, we discuss United Voice's endorsement and decision to actively partake in the climate strike this coming Friday, as well as why it is a union issue, and something that all workers need to act upon.

Lastly we have a suprise visit from ETU rank and file member and O-I Glass striker Jesse, who joins us as we read out this weeks workers actions, and reveal our scallywag of the week - ENCO Seventeen Mile Rocks manager, Steven James!
